While I was cooking dinner this was what was going on!! Angelee pushing a laundry basket from  the kitchen into the living room making sure to ram anything in her sights from dogs to humans to couches then to the Christmas tree. Gage was repeatedly throwing a cup into the sink from about 10 feet away, dropping it everytime. While Trinity and Damien were singing math facts and fighting over using the calculator. Needless to say I'M DONE for the night!!!
What a day!!! I've heard the quote "If you don't go to bed physically and mentally exhausted then you haven't done your job." Well I can safely say, I've done my job today!!! As I write this it's 10:30 pm and Angelee is JUST NOW getting a bath! My day started at 5 am. It started with normal cleaning stuff. At seven wake the kids up get them ready and out the door by 8:30, now I can shower to be at the school by 9:15. I leave there at 3:30 and come home and write my daily list of goals....
My goals today~
                        1~do 6 loads of laundry
                        2~shred 20 envelopes and
                        3~hang pictures up
                        4~finish painting the bathroom ceiling
5~clean Angelee's dresser and box clothes
Well needless to say I accomplished the first 3 and along with regular cleaning homework and cooking I'm beat, too beat to do any more!!! Good Night!!!!!

Dirt Fairies in Paris.

Over the weekend of Oct. 9 and 10, we went on a quick trip to Paris. We started Saturday with a football game in Woods Cross. My Stepfather came to watch (with stipulations of ABSOLUTELY NO ROOTING FOR THE OPPOSITION) which was his HOME TEAM!! It was really nice to see him, I really miss him, life just gets too busy. Anyway our team won the game and then we were off on our next adventure. Wedding in Perre' !!! The trip went great, beautiful scenery and great conversation. When we arrived we were greeted by many family members. The wedding theme was "crawl to the alter". My family really knows how to "tie one on" but in their case it's um.....about 20!! My poor husband had to be the referee. By the end of the night he was pretty fed up! One a.m. came and I was done, I wanted to get the kids in bed and prepare for the wedding the next day. I was loading kids in the car and Chris came to me and said "I'm going to stay and play some football" I was so tired I didn't even ask him how he was getting to my cousins house where we were staying! I just left. I'm so glad we had the opportunity to stay with her. She was so great to open her house to us. I got back and put the kids to bed and She and I stayed up talking till 5am, that's when I realized I FORGOT CHRIS!!! I went back to get him and everyone was asleep! I couldn't find him anywhere! The next morning we went back over for breakfast and helped set up the wedding. I was so busy, I wasn't paying much attention to the kids, someone brought Angelee and her little cousin Katelynn me and said "they got dirt in the house" I'm thinking they tracked dirt in the house on their feet. I went to clean it up and this is what I found  yep they were playing dirt fairies and dropped a trail of dirt EVERYWHERE!!!
HMMMM What can I get into next???
Who me??? I would NEVER!!!

The Boys of Fall

I love my family! Chris was showing me football plays and he was naming the players and where they go. Angelee came up and asked where she was in the game and she's very persistent asking at least four times in 30 seconds, finally Chris drew an A and said that's Ang she said "oh OK that's Angelee!!" He goes on to explain more of the play to me, she chimes in again, "but where's Gage?" Chris draws a G on the sideline and next thing we know the entire family has to be in the play!! Which is so true because it is the entire family involved. I love being a football family, when football ended last year Chris and I went into some sort of depression,it was like "what do we do now?" I love the hustle and bustle of the season. I love the respect and discipline that comes from Damien, Chris and even Me, I've been able to get somewhere on time (are ya shocked?) It's like the entire family steps up to the plate and pitches in. I LOVE the practices, I love the GAMES(of course). I love the the family closeness that surrounds it. It's so fun to watch the games, I get so caught up in the game, I know I'm there because my son is on the team, but I have to admit most of the time I don't even know if he's on the field or not! D has thee most amazing coach. This is his second year playing with this team, last year he was 9 years old playing on a 8 year old team. This year we had to "Z" him down to play with the same team. That process was one I will never forget. D showed soooo much determination. I'm so proud of him. Let's just say he had to be a tiny bit lighter to "play down" which meant he was pretty means basically he wasn't able to eat sweets which is ok with me!! It was only three weeks but man was it EMOTIONAL!!! The only thing on our minds for a month was "making weight" I researched every way in the book to do it "safely" and he did it!! The funniest thing about the whole process besides the spitting contest He and I had was the meal he chose after weight-ins, a chilly-dog yep he had to have a a foot long chilly-dog, then he had to go to practice right after!! One of the coaches calls him "chilly dog" now as a nickname, I HATE IT, I had a hard time with "the Omen" last year, I'd take that one a thousand times before chilly dog LOL!

Damien doing his job!!

This is last year. Our team is the gray team!!!

My Life in Music!!

So I was downloading music to my phone. I had no clue what I was doing and I went into my husbands Ipod and just pushed sync and it started with a reggae cd my brother downloaded for us. My brother has really good taste in music because of him we have everything from Alabama and Credence Clearwater to Beethoven. Well this song came on my phone and I had to share it. I love this song when I hear it I just get "happy"!!!                                       ENJOY!!!

Lagoon

It's what fun is!! Boy is that true! As a kid I grew up in Bountiful, we had season passes a lot. Now that I have my own family I want my kids to experience the same things. It was definitely a lot easier when we were purchasing 3 passes for Chris, Damien and I. It's been about 6 years since we bought passes. We knew that we couldn't afford them this year so the kids saved for about 6 months. The 3 older ones had enough saved by April. When they had all their money a lot of it in change we took it in. Gage had the hardest time understanding that he had to give all his money up for a "stupid card". He kept saying "mom you stole my money"!!! Well I'm so glad we did this, with Chris's new work schedule we weren't able to really do much traveling this summer! So these passes worked out great on days we were getting a little stir crazy, we hopped in the car and off we went! I love passes because you don't feel like you have to stay all day to get your moneys worth. While I don't feel like we have been able to get up there as much as I wanted we've been about 11 times, I still feel like we've gotten good use out of them.

Ang happy as can be on the carousel.

This is why we love Passes, on Sundays the rides have little to no wait!!

I stayed off the ride to take pic. that's my story and I'm stickin' to it!!

Chris and Trinity went on the Cliffhanger 4 times with no wait at all!!
Ang is excited to go on a BIG KID ride!!!

Second thoughts???

I still haven't tried this one (it's the spinning)!!!

The kids and Chris sure LOVE it!!

Were we really THAT young?

October 5 has always been a great day. Well at least the last 15 years it has! On Dec. 12, 1994 I got a phone call and the person on the other line said "Did somebody page me?"  I answered "maybe, how old are you?" I figured it was one of the many guy's I had met at the mall, and I continued a conversation with him.Well what teenage girl doesn't like to talk on the phone? Eventually we met and started dating, yep he was 14 and I was 13. We dated on and off until October 5, 1995, that's when we officially became a "couple". He lived in West Valley, UT and I lived in Bountiful, UT. We would see each other every chance we could. On Saturdays I used to ride the bus for 2 1/2 hrs. to be at his basketball or soccer games, leaving my house at 5am sometimes. Then he turned 16 and he got a car, that meant more time together! When I turned 16 he bought me my first car a 1984 ford tempo!  We did all the typical teenage things dances, double dates, movies, dragging state. We even traveled together a lot. Our first trip was to the KOA in Willard, I clearly remember a weekend of eating bugles chips and raspberry filled doughnuts and him not being able to start a fire LOL!

I feel so blessed to be his wife, he is everything(+more) that I could ever ask for in a husband, and our kids have thee most amazing father!

To celebrate today we had spumoni ice cream for dessert. One of our favorite old school date places is The Old Spaghetti Factory. This is the ice cream we would get, but we had a different name for it we called it "spa moon me"!

Chris came home with my favorite candy bar, which I ate while doing recess duty at the school today. It was a nice little piece of heaven!

I sure am one lucky lady!!!

We're Back!! After reading some of the adorable blogs of my friends, I've decided to become more dedicated to my blog. I'm a little late out of the gate but I recently found a website that you can make your blog into an adorable book! So that is my goal. I want a place where I can treasure all those "little" moments! I've realized that if I take a minute to acknowledge them it will help me focus on the many great details of my life that I may be missing out on!! I'm so new I have no idea how to even change the font, but I'll get there!!
It's the Mother in me that takes random babies away from peddlers on the beach!!!As I was picking out my "new" playlist (because the old one was from myspace) I started by going threw the songs picking ones I "think" people would like, I decided this is really about my family so I picked songs that reminded me of them. For starters BEER IN MEXICO has a story behind it. In Jan. 2007 one of my closest friends Rhonda asked us to go to Mexico with her and her hubby Ross, she has a time share and she had an extra room with it! I love to travel and will go anywhere on the drop of a hat, Chris on the other hand doesn't (especially Mexico)!! I called him at work and asked him if we could go, at first he said no! Then after explaining to him we may not ever get a chance to do anything like this I got the "I'll think about it" reply. He went to work the next day and about 7:00 in the morning he called and said "find out what you need to do to get our passports and get it done" I asked him what changed his mind and he said "the song about having a beer in Mexico" So after I found a place for all of our kids to go we started prepping for the trip. We bought Spanish for dummies or something like that (which we listened to ONE DISK). I was really worried about drinking water so I had planned to bring and extra suitcase with water. We were in a 5 star resort they have purified water!! It was an amazing trip and much needed "us time" We had all inclusive (everything) Yep even Beer! We got pretty good at asking for beers in Spanish "dos cervezas para mi esposo-two beers for my husband" I wasn't really feeling the whole partying thing, I just wanted OJ and water, two days after we got home I found out why!! I was pregnant with Angelee!!
Our First Night. Dinner on the Beach!!

Olive Tossing!! These guys are so fun!!!

Rhonda and I on our balcony!!
